River Clean Ups 2024
Kayak, Paddleboard, and clean the local rivers
Join the national effort to clean our local waterways, spend an afternoon on the water making a difference and exploring the River Soar. We have a goal of collecting and removing over 1 Ton of litter from our waterways this year, but we can’t do it alone - we need your help! Bring along your friends, family, colleagues or even just come by yourself!
It's time to kick off our river clean-ups for 2024 - where you can spend time paddling out on the water while cleaning up for a good cause!
They'll be running throughout Leicestershire this year every Wednesday 12PM - 2PM, April - October.
You don't have to have kayaked before, you'll be in a double kayak or a single sit-on-top making it easy to clean and paddle.

Clean up’s are organised every Wednesday morning at Proctors Park in Barrow upon Soar, 12PM - 2PM (subject to change, register to keep updated). Book your spot and join the national effort to clean up our act.
